KUALA LUMPUR, 24 January – Rapid KL Monorail Line has temporarily suspended the operations of its four-car train sets; but has immediately rolled out special shuttle bus service to ensure traveling convenience for commuters.
The shuttle bus service will ply along the monorail alignment; providing a headway of 15 minutes, subject to traffic conditions.
“The fare is RM1 per trip. The bus service will commence daily from 7am to 10pm daily,’ Rapid KL said in a statement.
In the temporary unavailability of the four-car trains, the monorail service is operating with its two-car trains, which is operating at a headway of 13 minutes.
The statement added that the four-car trains had been suspended for system checks to be carried out.
Rapid KL apologises for the inconvenience caused, the statement added.
