RAPID KL SEEKS UNDERSTANDING FROM VEHICLE OWNERS OVER AUGUST 16 INCIDENT

KUALA LUMPUR, 21 December – Rapid KL refer to the various comments posted on our social media relating to the traffic incident on August 16 between Dato Keramat LRT station and Ampang Point involving its bus on Route 221. Rapid KL would like to thank the various commenters for their feedbacks.

Rapid KL noted the frustration faced by the vehicle owners involved in the traffic incident.

Rapid KL would like to inform that the case relating to the traffic incident is still pending at the Magistrate Court, and Rapid KL’s appointed insurance agent can only process claims after a decision by the Court, and to take the appropriate steps based on that decision.

Rapid KL seeks the understanding and patience of all parties involved; and to avoid making speculations and comments which would cause confusion amongst members of the public.

“We understand the frustration faced by the vehicle owners; and we hope to resolve the issues arising from the traffic incident soonest possible, and we will provide updates when they are available,” Rapid KL said in a statement issued today.
