KUALA LUMPUR, 12 June – The Ampang/ Sri Petaling Line track upgrading works between LRT Bandaraya and LRT PWTC Stations has been successfully completed on 9 June 2019 ahead of its original schedule.

Therefore, the planned temporary closures on 16 and 23 June are cancelled, and train operations shall resume as normal.

“Rapid Rail would like to thank all commuters travelling on the Ampang/ Sri Petaling Line for their patience and understanding during the temporary closure on 9 June. We are pleased that the upgrading works are completed ahead of schedule, in no small measure due to the hard work and dedication displayed by the teams involved, aided by good weather conditions,” said Abdul Hadi Amran, Chief Operating Officer for Ampang/ Sri Petaling Line.
