TEMPORARY CHANGES OF OPERATION HOURS FOR AMPANG AND SRI PETALING LINES ON SATURDAY (2 DECEMBER) AND SUNDAY (3 DECEMBER)

KUALA LUMPUR, 2 December – Rapid KL LRT Ampang and Sri Petaling Lines will end their services at 11pm tomorrow (Saturday, 2 December) to accommodate track upgrading works between Chan Sow Lin Station and Miharja Station. The Ampang Line service will be resumed at 11am on Sunday (3 December).

The LRT Sri Petaling Line, which provides travel between Putra Heights and Sentul Timur, will resume as normal at 6 am on the same day (Sunday, 3 December).

Rapid KL will be providing shuttle train and bus services to ensure commuters will still be able to get to their destinations during the temporary changes of operation hours on Sunday.

The shuttle train, which will operate on a 16-minute frequency, will start its services between 6am – 11am from Ampang Station to Chan Sow Lin Station. Ampang Line will operate on its normal frequency of six minutes after the track upgrading works have been completed.

In addition to that, free shuttle buses with the frequency of 15 minutes from Miharja Station to Chan Sow Lin Station will be provided on the same time for seamless travel for the affected commuters.

Rapid KL LRT Kelana Jaya Line, MRT Sungai Buloh – Kajang Line and KL Monorail Line will operate as normal to provide public transport convenience for the city commuters.

To ensure smooth travel experience, adequate signage and announcements will be provided for the benefit of the commuters. Furthermore, additional staff will be present at the Ampang Line stations to assist commuters in obtaining relevant information about the shuttle train and bus services.
